Care Around State Nursery

Wraparound care provides flexible full-day or sessional childcare for families whose children attend a local state nursery during part of the day. This service allows your child to enjoy the benefits of both settings, with a smooth transition between our nursery and their state nursery place at either Charles Williams Primary or Lodge Hill Primary Schools.

If your child has a morning place at the local state nursery, they can attend a breakfast session with us, where they will enjoy a relaxed start to the day with their friends and a healthy breakfast. Our team will then safely take them to their state nursery session in our nursery vehicles. Once their session finishes, we can collect them and bring them back to our nursery where they can continue their day playing, learning and relaxing until a collection time that suits your family.

If your child has an afternoon place at the local state nursery, they can spend the morning with us, taking part in activities, play and learning opportunities before we take them to their afternoon nursery session.

Our wraparound care ensures children experience a consistent, safe and nurturing environment, while giving parents the flexibility they need during the working day.

We are able to offer wraparound sessions that are funded by the Childcare Offer Wales.

Safety on the Road

Your child’s safety is our highest priority when travelling between nurseries. We use our fully insured nursery vehicles, which are regularly maintained, with up-to-date MOTs and servicing to ensure the highest safety standards.

All children travel using British Safety Standard, age-appropriate booster seats where required. Our Transit minibus is equipped with the latest adjustable seat belt systems designed to safely fit children of different sizes, removing the need for booster seats while still maintaining the highest level of protection.

Our staff are trained to ensure children are securely seated, supervised and transported safely, giving parents complete peace of mind during every journey.
